DESCRIPTION
TITLE: MODULAR SUSPENDED CEILING PANEL
The present invention relates to a modular panel for producing a suspended type suspended ceiling, as well as a false ceiling formed by the assembly of such modular panels. It relates more particularly to false ceiling panels formed from a series of blades, in particular for aesthetic purposes, which are arranged parallel to each other.
Various types of suspended false ceilings are known and in particular false ceilings comprising a load-bearing framework consisting of a trellis formed of a series of metal profiles forming meshes in which slabs come to take place. This metal frame is suspended from the ceiling by means of adjustable height lines, the ends of which are fixed to the metal profiles.
We thus know from patent FR 1472180 a suspended false ceiling which is constituted by a network of metal profiles which form a grid in the meshes of which we come to have tiles of various appearance.
This type of suspended false ceiling is interesting in that it allows easy intervention in the area between the upper wall of the tiles and the ceiling in order to ensure, for example, the installation and maintenance of electrical devices. , sanitary etc ... insofar as it suffices for the user to raise the where the slabs at the level of the desired intervention.
This type of false ceiling, however, has a number of drawbacks, in particular on the one hand the small size of the mesh usually produced and on the other hand that of the aesthetics insofar as the metal profiles forming the mesh remains visible to users.
We also know, in particular from patent FR2968026, false ceilings which consist of an assembly of panels which are themselves formed of a series of parallel slats which are held together by transverse counterblades. The upper face of the end blades of these panels has an inverted T-shaped metal profile, the vertical core of which is connected to the ceiling by length-adjustable hangers. Such an arrangement makes it possible to hide from the eyes of the users the metal sections used.
However, these panels do not allow easy and rapid access to the volume between their upper face and the ceiling, insofar as they require to do this a long and complicated disassembly which, moreover, causes an offset of the panels. neighbors which detracts from the aesthetics of the entire false ceiling.
The present invention aims to provide a false ceiling panel which allows both to have easy and quick access to the volume between its upper face and the ceiling and which, moreover, is easy disassembly and does not cause any disturbance of the neighboring panels during such an operation.
The present invention thus relates to a false ceiling panel intended to be suspended in suspension from a ceiling by hangers and comprising a set of parallel strips maintained at a given spacing identical by at least two transverse elements, characterized in that the transverse elements are provided with fixing means with the lines.
According to the invention, the fixing means will in particular consist of a metal profiled element which will be fixed on the transverse elements.
This profiled element will mainly consist of an angle iron, the latter being able to take the form of an inverted T-shaped profile, the transverse wings of which will be fixed to the transverse element. An angle in this text will designate any profile whose cross section has a vertical wing.
This fixing may be carried out by screwing the transverse elements onto the profile from the underside of said transverse elements, in an area of the latter located between two blades.
According to the invention, a part of the panel can be pivotally mounted relative to the other part so as to constitute a pivoting panel element.
To this end, the transverse elements of a panel may include, in an area between two blades, a first cutout for separation into two parts which will be provided with removable securing means, and a second cutout for separation into two parts which will be articulated by means of a hinge, so as to form the pivoting panel element.
The securing means may consist of a screw which will pass through a boss of the panel element to be fixed in a corresponding boss of the panel.
These securing means may also consist of a magnet which will be embedded in a boss of the panel and which will come to cooperate with an iron plate also embedded in the panel element.
Finally, the profiled elements of a panel may extend over at least one of the panels adjacent to it.
The present invention also relates to a false ceiling formed by the association of a set of panels as described above.
Thus the invention is particularly advantageous in that it allows a quick and easy disassembly and reassembly of a panel in order to allow a user to intervene in the volume comprised between the upper part thereof and the ceiling, and this without disturbing the scheduling of the neighboring panels which form the ceiling.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below, by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the appended drawing in which:
[Fig. 1] is a perspective view of a false ceiling panel according to the present invention, [Fig. 2] is a partial view of a fixing mortise made on a blade of the false ceiling panel, [Fig. 3] is a partial view of a fixing mortise made on a transverse element ensuring the connection of the blades of the false ceiling panel, [Fig. 4] is a view in longitudinal section of a part of a panel according to the invention in the junction zone between a blade and a transverse element thereof, [Fig. 5] is a view in longitudinal section of a part of a panel according to the invention in an area separating two blades, [Fig. 6] is a side view of an alternative embodiment of a false ceiling panel according to the invention, [Fig. 7] is a side view of the false ceiling panel of Figure 6 shown in the open position, of a part thereof, [Fig. 8] and [Fig. 9] are views in partial section of a transverse element provided with two respective fixing means for said part,
There is shown in Figures 1 to 5 an embodiment of a false ceiling panel 1 according to the invention.
This false ceiling panel essentially comprises a series of blades 3, in particular of wood, of synthetic material or of a light metal such as aluminum, which are parallel and which are maintained at a given spacing c. This spacing, as well as the dimension of the cross section of the strips 3 is a function of the aesthetic appearance that one wishes to give to the false ceiling 1.
These blades 3 are held together by two transverse elements 5 which are preferably arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal dimension of the blades 3. In the embodiment shown in the figures, the blades 3 are provided, at each of their ends , of a mortise 7 produced at their upper part, the width a of which is identical to that of the transverse elements 5 so that the latter can be embedded in these mortises 7.
According to the invention a mortise 7a of width e can also be produced, as shown in FIG. 3, in the transverse element 5 so as to receive the blades
3. We can also make both the mortise 7 in the blade 3 and the mortise 7a in the transverse element 5 so as to improve the rigidity of the assembly.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 4 and 5, the upper face of the transverse element 5 receives the transverse wing 9a of a metal profiled element 9 with a straight section in the shape of an inverted T. This profiled element is provided on its vertical wing 9b with perforations 11 in which are fixed one end of the lines 13 whose other end is secured to the ceiling 15, these lines being provided, in known manner, means not shown in the drawing , allowing their length adjustment.
According to the invention, and as shown in FIG. 5, the transverse element 5 is fixed with the profiled element 9 from the underside of the transverse element 5 by means of four screws 17 which pass through the latter in order to be screwed into the wing 9a of the profiled element 9. To do this, each screw 17 crosses the transverse element in a zone of the latter situated between two blades 3.
The present invention is thus particularly advantageous in that, when the user wishes to have access to the volume between the panel 1 and the ceiling 15, in order to install or intervene for example on a pipe or elements of electrical wiring , it suffices to unscrew the four screws 17 to extract from the false ceiling the panel 1 concerned, and this without disturbing the correct scheduling of the neighboring panels.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, a panel element 1 a is pivotally mounted around hinges so as to allow access to the volume comprised between it and the ceiling, without it being necessary to do so. upon dismantling.
To this end, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the transverse elements 5 of a panel 1 comprise, in a zone situated between two blades 3, a first separation cutout 19 into two parts which are provided with securing means removable, and a second separation cutout 21 into two parts which are articulated by means of a hinge 23, so as to form the panel element 1 a. This panel element 1 a, when the securing means are deactivated, can pivot around the hinges 23 to take a vertical position, as shown in FIG. 7.
The user therefore has access to the volume between the upper face of the panel 1 and the ceiling 15 and, once his intervention is complete, he rotates the panel element 1a in the opposite direction and fixes it to the rest of the panel by activating the means of solidarity.
As shown in FIG. 8, these securing means may consist of a simple screw 25 which passes through a boss 27 of the panel element 1a in order to be fixed in a complementary boss 29 of the panel 1.
According to the invention, and as shown in Figure 9, these securing means can also consist of a magnet 31 which is fixed in a boss 35 of the panel 1 and which cooperates with an iron plate 33 secured to the panel element 1a.
According to the invention, and as shown in the figures, the transverse elements 5 protrude on one side of the panel 1 by a length b equal to the distance c between two adjacent blades 3.
It is also of course, according to the invention, to produce transverse elements 5 which protrude on one side of the panel by a length d and on the other opposite side of the panel by a length of, it being understood that the length d + d 'will be equal to the spacing c of the blades 3 of the panel.
Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, the profiled elements 9 of a panel may extend over at least one of the panels which are adjacent to it. Such an implementation mode will allow better alignment of the different panels with one another.
